Who is Mindthebite meal prep for?
How long do your meals last in the fridge?
Our meals are made to order which means your food is prepared fresh before delivery. We suggest you consume your meals within 2-3 days for best taste unless indicated on the container that it is okay to freeze the food.
Can I receive 5 days of meals in one delivery?
At the moment, this is not possible as we aim to deliver the food to you as fresh as possible. Therefore the most amount we deliver is 3 days worth of meals at once.
How does the delivery work for 4 or 5 days worth of meals?
We deliver 2 to 3 days worth of the most at once. The remaining days are delivered fresh to you after 2 or 3 days so that you can always have fresh and healthy food available in your fridge.
How many days worth of meals can I receive at once?
The most amount that we deliver is 3 days worth of meals at once.
How are meals prepared?
We buy fresh, seasonal produce as locally as possible and prepare it in our kitchen professionally with a high degree of food safety application.
Do I need to cook the meals?

What type of food does Mindthebite prepare?
Our recipes include inspiration from all types of delicious cuisines from around the world whether it may be modern or traditional. These recipes are sometimes tweaked with more wholesome ingredients to create a more nutritious, balanced meal for the individual.
Is it possible to customize the set menu?
Absolutely, yes. We understand that every individual is different and may have different taste and nutritional requirements depending on age, sex, lifestyle, health and goals. We encourage you to talk to us so that we can create the right type of nutritional food for you.
How is the standard menu decided?
The standard menu is set in line with evidence based nutrition guidelines when it comes to deciding which and how much of certain foods and food groups to include on a daily basis. This means that there’s a balance of vegetables & leafy greens, fruits, healthy sources of protein, healthy sources of starches, grains and legumes, healthy fats, probiotics and dairy. If you are a Vegan or a Vegetarian, we try to balance the nutrition with respect to your food choices.
How do you handle food allergies and intolerances?
Very meticulously. If you are allergic to a certain type of ingredient/s, food/s, please tell us immediately. Your health is the most important thing to us and we will make sure to take the necessary steps for allergen/intolerance safety measures to make sure cross contamination does not occur.
What if there are ingredients or foods that I dislike?
Let us know and we can remove the ingredient from the recipe. If there is a food you don’t like, we can replace it with something that you like.
How do you ensure your meals are nutritionally balanced?
How do you determine an individual’s nutritional requirements for the meals?
As everyone is unique, we will take a look at your age, weight, sex, lifestyle, activity levels, sleep, stress/anxiety, health goals, existing health conditions, allergies & intolerances, pregnancy...etc Nutritionally balanced meals can be based on many factors depending on the individual.
Can I choose which days of the menu I want to order?
Yes. Let us know which days you would like to order.
How does meal prep booking work?
We require that you book for your meal preparation 3 days in advance. The date you choose for the meal prep is when you will receive your 2-3 days of meals.
What happens after I book for meal prep?
After you make your booking, we will contact via email or phone to discuss your requirements for the meal preparation.
When is food delivered after I book for meal prep?
The date you choose on appointy booking system is when your meals will be delivered.
How much notice do you need for cancellations?
We require 48 hours of notice for cancellations to help us to not proceed with your food preparation.
What if I am not at home to collect my delivery?
We will methodically place your package on your doorstep or near your mailbox to have it ready when you arrive home.
Which areas do you cover for meal prep?
Currently we deliver within Zürich canton, Luzern city and Zug city areas.
Do I need to buy groceries?
No. Our service includes the purchase of your groceries.
How long do your meals last?
Our meals are prepared with fresh ingredients without preservatives. We suggest you consume our meals within 2-3 days.
Do I need to provide my own food containers?
We try to be as environmentally conscious as possible and avoid the use of non-recyclable plastic in our packaging. You may choose to provide us with your own food containers or we can provide them for you.
Does someone need to be available at delivery?

If you have booked our meal prep service, you will receive an invoice along with your delivery.

It is suitable for those who may be having problems in setting healthy eating habits for themselves.
How long will it take for me to set healthy habits?
It is important to note that setting habits that last a lifetime does not happen overnight and it takes effort. Research suggests the minimum time it takes for an average person to change their habits is about 90 days.
How long will it take to reach my goal?
It depends on your specific goal, what you want to achieve from your goal and the realistic method of application in order to reach your goal.
What happens during the program consultations?
It is important that first we get to know you with an introduction to the program and we evaluate the underlying cause of the problem. Once we identify the issue, we can then personalize the best solution and which method of application would be the easiest for you.
How do the consultations happen?
The consultations are held privately via Google meets. The conversation or chat are completely confidential.
Can the consultation times be different week to week/how flexible can cons times be?
Yes, we can be flexible with what time it suits you to be present for consultations.
Please allow 24 hours for cancellations.
Can I contact you after hours?
You can certainly write to us, however we can get back to you between our available hours only.
Which languages do you support?
At the moment only English.
What happens after the 3 month long program ends?
At the end of the program, you can still hold weekly, free consultations with us. We love to keep in touch with our previous clients to make sure they continue to keep up with the new changes they have made.
What if I can’t reach my goals before the program ends?
Unlikely, however if this happens for any reason we will reassess the situation free of any costs and will work with you closely to make sure you succeed with the program.
